This week marks the arrival of two new SFX Libraries. First is TONSTURM 08 Morocco which is a 15GB collection of ambiances recorded throughout the country of Morocco. Second is Designed Whooshes from Chuck Russom FX. Designed Whooshes serves as a quick sound design tool by providing ready-made whooshes that are easy to incorporate into a mix.
These are all very colorful, lively and diverse cities, where we found a lot of unique places to capture these great surround ambiences.
We captured sounds from the souks (markets), the medina (old town), the calls of muezzins, rooftop city ambiences and a lot more!
Through some Maroccan relatives we were able to record at special locations where access is normally not possible.This is a collection of sound designed whooshes featuring multiple whoosh sounds, each with multiple variations. All whooshes were designed without the use of excessive reverb so that you can tailor these to fit your mix. Face it, you always need new whoosh sounds, so why haven’t you added this to your cart already?
